Educational information
Question: Why should I use an O2 mask knowing I want to avoid free radical damage?
Answer: By using the O2 mask, we promote greater oxygen consumption by our skin. High oxygen consumption is one of the benefits of exercise, but this increased oxygen supply only affects the muscles. Unfortunately, playing sports does not increase our skin's oxygen consumption. Since high oxygen consumption helps firm and tone the skin, we added an oxygen activator to the O2.
Oxygen free radicals represent a completely different molecule. Chemically speaking, it is three oxygen atoms that come together to form an unstable molecule represented by the chemical formula O3, a different formula from that of oxygen (O2). O3 can cause many destructive changes in cells, including cell aging and skin cancer. By increasing the skin's O2 level using the O2 lifting mask, we contribute to healthy skin, rather than tissue oxidation (this is the term used to talk about it). 'O3, not O2).
